Told outdated DirecTV equipment but given DIRECTV STREAM instead.

Absolutely awful service. To start an associate told us our current directv service was outdated so they sent us a new one. Turns out this was directv streaming. We’ve had it for three months and it was stopped working 7 times. We have wasted our time four hours on hold and then hours going back and forth with representatives who temporarily fix the issue only foe the service to break down again 3 days later.

There are some customers with legacy equipment that need replacing. DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM have one similar box (different firmware) that kind of overlaps.

What are the models of each box you have?

Did you sign up for DIRECTV STREAM or have the Gemini box on your DirecTV service?

If you started DIRECTV STREAM, is your DirecTV still active?
