transfer billing to husband
Is there any way to transfer my account to my husband's name? We are getting divorced and he wants to keep the Directv account. I have called and also tried the chat and I am going in circles. The website att.com/tobr does not work for directv.

The only way is to die, so you have to cancel the account and return the receivers if they are returnable then he has to open a new account.

The Transfer of Billing Responsibility (TOBR) does not apply to DirecTV. That is for cell phones.
There is no option to transfer the account, unless you are a surviving spouse (i.e. account owner passed away). For anything else, including divorce, he must apply for his own service. If you don't want the service, then you have to cancel your own account.
