Unwanted channels
On my new bill I noticed that I had two direct tv channels that I did not order or want. The customer rep said she could not remove them from this bill. She did correct the future bills. These are programs that I would never order. I never received a text or email concerning the channels. How I got them is a mystery, but I want this bill corrected.

What two channels were added? As this is a public forum, we are customers just like you so we can’t make adjustments to the bill. Have you tried calling DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and saying ‘billing’ to the agent? This will send you to the proper department.

To dispute the bill, you call DirecTV. But it sounds like you already did. I hope they verified how the additional service was added to the account (phone, online, by the remote, etc.) so you can protect yourself in the future.
This is a public forum of other customers. We cannot change what DirecTV has determined to be valid charges.

I am being billed for the Hustler and Vivid channel, somehow. I called customer service direct but was told they could not credit me, and I need to contact the escalation team.

The issue is I do not have a record of any kind ever ordering these channels. As a man of God, I have no need to order these channels.

If you sign into your online account at Directv.com, you can view under Billing Info when those two channels were ordered. You can also cancel both from online unless it won’t let you. Although, you won’t simply be credited online by cancelling.

The agent telling you to contact the "escalation team" was just getting you off the phone as didn't have the answer you wanted. Even if someone in your household ordered it without your explicit permission, you would still be responsible for the charges. But if truthfully nobody at home ordered it, then call DirecTV back and speak to the next agent. They should be able to verify the method it was added, which might give some insight.
TV providers like most businesses don't have an option to put your status as "man of God" or not. You are a regular human customer like everyone else so orders or not service as you choose. Though not your personal choice, remember that a "man of God" is still human and so always has the ability to make their own decisions.
