Why do you continue to rip people off
I am a customer with AT&T I purchased the Ultimate package so that the St Louis Cardinals could be watched on my programming. Since the Carona Virus now that the games are on suddenly this is removed from my package and put onto the premier package which already includes the sports package. So now AT&T wants me to move up to the premier package which cost more and also pay $13.00 for the sports package. So now they forced me too pay more, and they are charging the premier people more. So in short the premier people are paying twice for sports then I have to pay for sports so they are collecting 3 times for St Louis to be able to watch the St Louis Cardinals. This is fraud and greed in the biggest form by a corporation. Please let St Louis know in order to watch the St Louis Cardinals St Louis is being taken advantage of by AT&T. I will be contacting the FCC also.

If the service does not offer you the content you need then switch services. No one is making you stay here.

I'm not sure what service you have. Ultimate is the highest AT&T TV package - there is no "premier package". And there is no "sports package". Every AT&T TV package from Choice up includes the RSNs, and if you are in the St. Louis region, the included RSN is Fox Sports Midwest, which includes Cardinal games. If any games are blacked out on FS Midwest, that isn't under AT&T's control, but there is no place "higher" for AT&T TV to move the game to.

You get the Regional Sport Networks (RSN) and their professional teams for where you live as long as you are in Choice, Xtra, Ultimate, or Premier. So Choice is the minimum package for this. To verify that the Cardinals are in-market, then check www.directv.com/rsn
If the Cardinals are out-of-market, then you cannot get them on the RSN. Instead you would need the MLB Extra Innings which is for out-of-market games.
As normal, if one of your local channels has the rights to the game, you watch it their instead of the RSN (Local supersedes RSN).
Unique to MLB compared to other professional sports, Fox and ESPN have special rights to weekend games.
No TV provider controls those rules. Those are set by the leagues (MLB in this case). The only concern is it sounds like you were advised to go to a higher package then you needed.

The sports pack is included in the premier package therefore you're not being charged the extra $13.00 a month. Have you checked your zip code to see what your rsn actually is? It sounds like your zip code isn't part of the cardinal's coverage area so you're being properly blacked out and an inexperienced or clueless csr is telling you you have to upgrade to the premier package OR add the sports pack a la carte to get the rsn neither of which will get you the cardinal games if out of market for your zip code.
What is your zip code?

The Sports Pack by itself is $13.99 by itself. It does work with a multi-pack if you have any other premiums (i.e. HBO). However the Premier package includes all 5 premiums in the cost (same cost as Ultimate with a 4-pack, if 1 is HBO), so there is no additional cost on top of that. The RSN fee still charges of course as that is for your in-market RSNs.
The Sports Pack is not for professional games. If you are out-of-market for a team/RSN then it is still blacked out. It is more for college sports, regional events, and specialty sport channels.
The only time you get the Sports Pack for your in-market RSN/teams is if you are in Family, Select, or Entertainment. Still no separate RSN fee as that is only Choice and up for automatically providing your RSNs.

Cardinals on DirecTV
Cardinals games are available within the Cardinals TV territory on DirecTV (channel 671) and AT&T U-Verse (channels 748 and 1748). In some outlying areas within the Cardinals TV territory, subscribing to the DirecTV SportsPack may be needed to receive FOX Sports Midwest. Check with your provider or e-mail midwest@foxinc.com for more information.
I googled it for you

I also looked up your zip code and the cardinals are on the alternate channels for fs ind, fs midwest and fs kc. So you actually do need the sports pack to get these alternates.

According to www.directv.com/rsn zip 63114 shows several alt channels for the Cardinals.
The last one cuts off, but doing some text acrobatics to scroll the page down shows FS Midwest Plus Alt (671) which lists Cardinals as well.

This is a public forum of other customers, So there is no access to your account and we certainly didn't shut off the service.
You will need to call DirecTV if your account has been deactivated.
