Absolutely the worst experience with internet and cable ever!

I would not recommend direct tv or att as they seem incompetent. I was scheduled for one day, they changed it without telling me, then when I tried to get the original day I was put on hold for over an hour without any resolution...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! save your time and go somewhere else!

Because of Covid-19 some appointments unfortunately get rescheduled because of tech availability. They also had to temporarily close many call centers, even putting additional employees on extended leave, because of the stay at home orders. So they cannot operate at normal efficiency as their business is not immune to the pandemic situation which is not "incompetent" as you say.

However, not contacting you about the needed reschedule is an issue. Though you obviously cannot get the original day back (otherwise it wouldn't have changed in the first place), someone from their dispatch should have reached out with the new appointment date to see if that would work or to have you call DirecTV to reschedule for a better date/time they had available. When you call DirecTV to reschedule (or close your account if you cannot abide any problem during Covid-19), you can submit a complaint on the order regarding no contact about the scheduling issue.
