You will lose all local channels and RSN.

What you ask, though has a way to do it, is a violation of the service and Federal regulations. Not only are locals and RSNs tied to the physical service address, but also the taxes you are required to pay. So can be a bit of minor tax fraud. As such the correct way is having 2 separate accounts that you suspend accordingly when switching between them.

You will need to install the equipment yourself as DirecTV will not without a proper Movers order to stay within the rules. You will lose locals and RSNs when at the 2nd location.

By "regular" dish I hope that means one for the home as opposed to a RV or other such mobile version. Must be DirecTV MPEG-4/HD capable as they are in the process of shutting down the old MPEG-2/SD-only feeds.

What are the models of each box you have now? That will affect your setup options.
