There is no monthly cost difference between owned and 'lease'. The $10 is for HD service and covers the account no matter how many TVs you have on the service. You pay $7 for each additional TV on the service no matter what kind of box, or even no box at all (RVU Client/DirecTV Ready TV).
And purchase to own options went away years ago. All it did was you paid full retail cost for a box (HDDVR $499), have only a 1 year warranty (so buy box again after that if must be replaced), and didn't come with a service agreement.
