Antenna

Is there a way to connect an indoor OTA antenna to an HR 24-200? The only instructions I can find say to insert the antenna coax into an "OFF-AIR IN" port on the back of the DVR, but I don't find that port on my DVR. Anybody with instructions? Thanks in advance!

You would need an AM21 tuner. try ebay. The Hr24 does not have an off-air tuner ((never has had)

DirecTV boxes don't have a built-in off-air tuner (at least not for many years). You would need the long discontinued AM21 to connect antenna to the HR24 and integrate the off-air channels into the guide. They can still be found used.

In the meantime, most TV's still have that off-air tuner so you can use it traditionally through the TV set itself.

Ok, guess it'll be an antenna connected directly to my TV. Thanks, you guys!

You're welcome. Though keep an eye out as the AM21 still floats around as people pass on their used ones. Hopefully one day they will release their successor the Local Channel Connector (LCC).
