Are the att tv people able to come out and help you get up your new DVR?

I am struggling to get the connection of the cords right because the directions are not very clear and i keep on getting "cannot detect SWM". Are the att tv guys able to come out and assist with that?

Service calls are $99 covered if you have the protection plan. If you post your receiver model number(s) maybe we can help.

Tell us what equipment models you have, dish type, and exactly what you're trying to do.

The new box should plug in exactly how the previous one was. If it needs more than that then a install should have been scheduled.

What is the model of the old box and the one that is replacing it?
