Bad result from DirecTV Speed Test

We have pretty good Internet access at our current location.  At this location, our HR44/500 receiver, at software level 0x13af Tue 6/16, managed to download quite a few episodes of a popular program from a channel number above 1000, which seems to imply via the Internet.  Also, a common computer internet speed test gives good results as shown below.

BUT using the DirecTV speed test at Menu:Settings:Internet Steup:Speed Test, its "speed gauge" ends up at the zero point at the left side, and a result code of 88-491 is displayed.  Does this speed test generally work?  What is the meaning of 88-491?

Result code 88-xx simply means your receiver is connected to the internet successfully

Thank you for this info.  Do you know what the number after the dash means?

Thank you, that makes me feel better.  Should I watch to see when/if DirecTV (or whoever is responsible) fixes this bug?

It is a reference number for tracking AFAIK.

@shannon02 I was tempted to ask how such a reference number could track what you know, but I don't feel snarky enough today.  Thank you for the info.

I have the same issue with my HR44.  But I am not able to run a playback of a show or view on demand content.  I have an HR24 which works fine. I have a direct ethernet connection.  Is there a firmware update I am missing.  (Current - 0x13af)

No, you will have to wait for an update that cures these problems.
