Being overcharged for years

For the past 3 years at least I have been overcharged for equipment that I do not have. I am being charged for to DirecTV receivers that I do not have have never had. I have spent hours upon hours on the phone with this company in an effort to resolve this overcharge with no help at all. I stayed on hold for 35 minutes last time until my phone finally died. I'm being overcharged $14 a month for things I do not have and it's been going on for at least the last three years. My bill is outrageously High for a service that (Edited per community guidelines) so bad you should be ashamed to offer it. Even your own line (Edited per community guidelines) because every time I have to sign into my account I have to make a new password every time! We were told that our television bill would never go over $130 our TV bill is $202.49 every month for a service that we don't even hardly use. I really despise at &t I feel trapped but I cannot get another provider that I have to use AT&t and the service is so bad. My internet goes out all the time everyday. And our bill like I said is out of control I've asked for reductions and got no assistance. I don't know where this post will end up I truly hope it finds its way on to someone in upper Management's desk so that they can see how frustrated we are using this service and getting no help. What I want is I want a credit for the last 3 years for the $14 that AT&t has overcharged me on my bill for two additional TV receivers that I do not have will I stay with AT&t I have no idea maybe if I get a credit but I seriously doubt I'll hear anything from anyone about this. It'll be like everything else with AT&t you'll get put on hold then disconnected. Trust me as soon as I can break free from AT&t I will and run as far away as I can and never look back and warn anyone who wants to use this service and sold a pack of lies.

So have you been trying to get this fixed for 3 years or does this mean you haven’t looked at your bill for 3 years and only recently discovered this? In any event, this is a customer populated forum, not customer support. Unlikely anyone from ATT or Directv even sees it. Per the customer agreement, they are only liable for billing errors for 3 months. Good luck getting 3 years of credit. Your best chance for resolution is to escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint.

There is a 60 day dispute policy, common for any business. Letting it go 3 years before you review your bill is on you. They expect notification within a reasonable time, not years after the fact.

Don't expect different from any company. It is your responsibility to review your bills.
