Box keeps SAYING CONNECTing then it says no signal now it says this will take a minute

What is the receiver model? Has this been an issue in the past? How is the receiver connected to the TV? Any error codes?

Unplug power from that box for a minute or two. This power cycle should clear anything stuck in memory that may be causing issue for the boot-up.

Make sure box is not plugged into a "smart" power strip and if TV has it that HDMI-CEC is turned off. Also be sure that power plug is secure on both ends.
