Did unplugging "everything" including the power cable?

Make sure it is not plugged into a "smart" power strip. They don't play well with DirecTV equipment. Try a different outlet or even power cord. Verify power cord is secure on both ends of course.

same thing is happening to me but everything on it is fine.
