Can I uninstall and remove my Dish?

We are new residents of a property and there is an unconnected DirecTV dish in the yard. Would I be able to uninstall it and just throw it away or would I call a local store and have them come take it? There is a pole in the ground and all. We are trying to put in a fence and this would be in the way of it. Anything would help, thanks.

It's yours. Uninstall it and recycle it, your city might do large item pickup.

Upon install customer owns everything but receiver/client boxes. Recycle dish with metal and the LNB (the "eye") goes with electronics. Remove pole as normal. If dish had been on a building, then suggested to leave mounting plate to avoid leaks.
