Cancellation of a Direct TV order

I received an order from At&T which differs substantially from proposal given by AT&T representative in Sarasota FL.  I called AT&T for clarification  and after being transferred for rep to rep to rep was able to state my rejection of the order and all the terms and conditions and cancel the installation.  My cancellation was accepted verbally.  I requested confirmation via email.  I have not received said confirmation.

Call DirecTV to verify the order was canceled. This is a public forum, so no account access here.

 

Nothing happens for monthly billing or service agreement until installed and activated. If you had paid anything up front for the order (to DirecTV itself, not a 3rd party retailer), then upon cancellation the payment is reversed back to the card usually within 48hrs.
