Can't program remote

DVR/Receiver model number?
When did the problem start?

DVR/Receiver Model HR44-200
Remote, the latest model (black & white)
Started several days ago. Got a new remote and it worked for a few days and then stopped and I can't program it.
Did online and Voice trying to help. Voice was a foreigner who couldn't help.

Try resynchronizing the remote by pressing MUTE + ENTER simultaneously.

Remote now working but there is dialog on every channel. How do I turn it off?

Check your DVR audio settings.
