Cant read Guide on Directv app
iPhone 8, When I open the app ver 5.0.56 build 2002080313, the Guide and my list are unreadable because the font size is so large. Is there any way to reduce it so I can see the list of recorded or live shows?

I know this does not help you but works fine on my Android Samsung Z Fold 4, both half and full screens.
Do you have autorotate turned off?

Hello @mclark1000, we're ready to help you with your channel guide on the App. Let's work on it. Please go to settings on the iPhone 8. Then, display and brightness section. Click "Text Size" and place the dot on the line back in the center, you probably have it set to the far right. Also, turn off bold text if enabled. Yes, changing the default text size does work. BUT, it defeats the purpose since now it reduces the font size on everything else on my phone now. I increased it for a reason to begin with do I could more easily read text.

My font size in my Android is set to default, I know this might not help you, but seems there is no independent setting for font size in the app (which is normal)
Unfortunately your phone was put on sale in 2017, and there have been many improvements in the hardware and software in the intervening 6 years.
If this was happening on all iPhones, then it would be a known problem. Is there any compromise setting that works for you?
Is it a lot better on a newer iPhone (again I know this does not help you, sorry)

Thank you so much for confirming that changing the default size did work, but it reduced the font size on everything else on your phone. We have reviewed your case and have some steps that will allow you to have the app with the right font size.
On your iPhone 8 go to Settings > Accessibility > Per-App Settings (At the absolute bottom) > Add app > DIRECTV > Larger text > Increase/decrease as necessary.
