You must call DirecTV 1-800-531-5000 and request the upgrade. They will discuss the options to add another box and see about scheduling an appointment. DirecTV covers the entire country with millions of customers, so unlikely they will be able to come next day as techs will probably already be on other appointments.
This is a public customer to customer forum. So you are just discussing with other customers. To order the additional equipment you must call DirecTV.
However, if you were to post the models of your current boxes, we could give guidance on what to order for the additional room. Just in case you get the one agent who wants to go overboard with the order.
