connection

I have a gene mini in my shop with the doors open I get signal not good but enough to watch dtv nothing with doors closed. I have range extender that lets me do anything on my network in my shop with great signal. is it possable to go through my extender to the wvb or to mywireless lan then to wvb. so I can watch my dtv

Wrong forum. Try the Directv forum. This “wireless” forum is for cellular service.

I know the WVB does not use your internet/wifi. You could go the other way, use a RF remote in the workshop & get a long HDMI cable to move the mini closer to the wvb.

I'm guessing at this point (below)

If you can see the directv wifi network with a PC, you might be able to do a seperate repeater for that, but I suspect it'll have a passwd that no one knows...
