customer service
I have 19 boxes in my home and cant get anyone on customer service. If i don't get a call my Friday the 29th I will ship them back and cancel my account this is amazing I have been on hold for 30 min . You folks are not at all interested in customer service. I have called the 3 on your side folks in arizona. This is por performance for your share holder too.

this is a customer forum not directv.demanding a call in here is as usefull as yelling out your window for them to call you. but they dont call you you call them and hold just like everyone else. due to increased call volume and a skeleton staff call times are upwards of 2 hours unless you get extremely lucky. you also posted your phone number for all the world to see

Customer support doesn't call you as that is not how it works. You call them.
They are very short staffed right now. Many call centers have been closed for Covid-19, with additional employees on extended leave for all those stay at home orders. And they still have millions of customers with no shortage of calling, so of course hold times are long. Having 19 boxes though an uncommon amount for a residence (as opposed to a business), does not mean you get to go ahead of other people.
The "3 on your Side" folks cannot open call centers and return employees to work before the government allows them. Pay TV is luxury entertainment, not a necessary utility, so is lower on the schedule for phases of opening areas back up.
This is a public forum of other customers (and the occasional one tagged as "employee" who is off the clock). Sometimes we can help each other out find solutions, or get guidance to narrow down options before speaking to an agent. Just need info on what you need assistance with. Otherwise, DirecTV and be patient.
