Direct tv dish location

Hello I have a question about installation I guess. I live in a wooded area with a lot of trees and I was wondering how far can you run the dish cable from the house how many feet? Thanks

150 ft is the max DTV allows for RG6, however you can run RG11 around 350 ft with a 29v power inserter.

Ok thanks it’s gonna be about 110 feet out from my house. Will my HD channels still come in with that far of cable ran out?

So long as the SWM LNB gets enough power to work then you will get all the channels in your package. MPEG2 SD is going bye bye soon.

Ok thanks. One technician told me I would lose my hd channels after 50 feet. That’s why I never called back about getting it installed.
