Direct tv HR 24-200 to a king quest cube connection
Does my King Quest VQ4100-B0 work with a Direct tv box HR24-200. I am having problems setting it up. It keeps telling me it can not find the swm.

It should work. You'll need to perform the HR24's Satellite Setup and specify "Multiswitch" and "Round 18-inch Dish" in the setup menus. But that's not really a compatible DirecTV dish anymore. DirecTV is phasing out SD/MPEG2 broadcasts over the next year, so you need to upgrade that dish to a Winegard Trav'ler or DirecTV Slimline dish.
