We can help with your 615 error, @smithkimeco!

Error 615 is the error code that displays when your receivers are having trouble connecting with the wireless video bridge. 615 errors are specific to the Genie 2, so you should make sure that your Genie 2 is plugged in and working properly.

If your Genie 2 is showing a red LED status light, try rebooting it by pressing the red reset button.

If rebooting or following the other steps in the 615 error link doesn't help, let us know what color LED is on your Genie 2.

This started last week with us, there are 4 TVs, all the others are fine. Mine read "video signal lost" (I believe their was a brief loos of power flicker during the night, but my (TV will often reboot after this) & when we were on the

phone with direct tv last time, they guided my roommate to a certain screen to "add clients" at that time they couldn't remember which initial was to my room (I'm a renter), One was a MB (we figured master bedroom), one was P which we thought was patio or porch, then the other two were L & F or lf & or something like that.  They told me that I HAD to be added from where the genie was.  My older male roommate dismisses this & says it has to be done from my TV.  Could you please, addition to posting here for others, email the steps to me at an address i will send you, I'm currently on a laptop on my floor, lol.  Thank you so much.  Also, DirecTV just sent us a wireless new box.

Yes.  The tower started blinking green.  Tech came and we ordered a new H17-500 box and activated, but the same thing is happening! No connection.

Status light is blue, wireless light is green but the mini genies blink red.  Just received replacement H17-500 box today and can't get it to work either.  Giving same error code as the other one only the other H17-500 status light would keep blinking green.

You answered "Yes" to a question from over 2 years ago (July 2020). It is suggested when a thread is that old to start your own so you don't risk getting mixed in a discussion that ended long ago or might have information that is now outdated.

Hope the DM you are getting from the offiical help team works out. If you need further guidance on this or another matter, please start a fresh thread if there is not a recent relevent one.
