Direct TV rooftop dish
Rooftop dish removal by Direct TV. Who's responsible, and is it safe to remove by resident? If by a professional, where is the bill sent to Direct TV? Who pays for roof damage or repair?

Once a dish is installed, it becomes the part of the domicile.
If you are asking for DirecTV to remove it, that won't happen.

Yes, DIRECTV will not remove their satellite dish for you unless you hire some sort of third party service in your area to do so. You can also find helpful videos on YouTube to remove it. As far as roof damage/repair goes, you won’t have much luck getting DIRECTV to be responsible once you cancel service. Btw welcome to AT&T COMMUNITY FORUMS!

Everything but the receiver/client boxes is customer owned upon install. So that dish is your property to do with as you will. DirecTV will not remove it.
If you choose to remove it, make sure to leave the mounting plate to protect against leaks.
Any roof damage/repair is at your cost, not DirecTV's.
