directv is pure rubbish

hello

as everyone knows that i was looking forward to getting installed last friday. well that never happened!!! so i signed up 3 more times trying to get installed and nothing happened again. i called and called diretv over and over. the rep tells me the tech's on his way and i should be getting a phone call in 30 mins. ok so i waited an hr and called att back. so the next rep tells me that the tech had an emergency and could not make it. if that's true. so the rep starts telling me that i can download the directv app for my smart t.v.. he tellls me to downlod the directv app. i am searching for it on my roku t.v. as he's telling me to goto the google play store LOL. REALLY???? google play is for android phones not smart t.v.'s!!! heres a good one!!! he asks me if i can talk into my remote and do a voice search. i replied no i can't. then he says then you dont have a smart tv. really. have these reps even gone to school??? because they seem dumb and not caring to me!!! so then i called back a third time got someone in merica who made sense!!! so he called the instalation company and they told him that they had no record of the work order!!!! and to this day i have not been installed!!!

if this is how AT&T treats there customers they can keep it there's more people out there willing to take my money!!! i don't need you you need me to survive

but yea the whole directv experience is pure garbage!!! hmm maybe it's better off that i didn't go with such a trashy company. as directv used to be a steller service now its pure garbage. a merger that should have not been allowed to happen!!!

There is no app for DTV to watch on a TV only for mobile devices.

that's what i thought there shannon!!! though how i feel about this whole mess i could care less if AT&T goes belly up!!!

got installed today after trying to get installed 8 times ugh. to make matters worse. the installer gave me a 3 LNB instead of the 5 LNB wich is what the premere package requires.

maybe i'll be filing an fcc complaint and try to get out of this mess. this is such nonsense the installer should know what's needed during the install per package and hardware ordered

The only sat on the 5LNB is the SD only 119 that DTV is shutting down the MPEG2 channels on, All HD programs are on the 99, 103 sats including HBO, STARZ, and the others.

so shannon then why can't i get channel 620? i am sure it's a differnet LNB than the one installed???

My guide does't show a 620 only 618 FS2 HD or 621-1 FSPHD

looks like they decided to drop it then. i googled it out. the tips and trick manual is more than likely old!!!
