DirecTV Receiver

Called the (800) 531-5000 for assistance

Spoke to Scott, he couldn't help told me to call Tech Support (877) 303-2243

On hold with Tech Support 1hr, Vince cannot help because he is ATT&T NOT DirecTV, told me to call (800) 531-5000

What a circle (Edited per community guidelines) - time to dump DirecTV

My DirectTV receiver won’t turn on

Tried using the remote to turn on, didn't work

Tried using the power button on the receiver, didn't work

Tried to reset the red button, didn't work

Tried a hard reset by unplugging the receiver, didn't work

Scott should have transferred you to tech support( DirecTV tech support not att) The only way to get a replacement is to call I Know it's very frustrating waiting.

Also have you tried a different outlet? If it's the power cord you can purchase a new one from solid signal but that's up to you. Make sure you select the correct model number if you decide to purchase one

Tried different outlet, didn't work.

The power button has a faint blue light on, but nothing else works.

Finally got DirecTV Tech Support (horrible connection!), tried troubleshooting the same things I did, nothing worked. It appears the receiver may be in a locked stage and not able to receive or send signals. Tried different HDMI cable port, didn't work.

Tech Support wanted to send a Tech to check the cables & box, sorry, but during these times no stranger is coming into my house.

They're sending a replacement box - let's see how that works...
