DirecTV no longer has TiVO boxes. The last attempt was the THR22 which is now legacy equipment.
The lasts regular HDDVR made for DirecTV was the HR24. They haven't been made in years and supposedly are no longer available though DirecTV itself. Authorized Retailers like Solid Signal have still had them, but they are $199 for the one-time lease cost and still come with a 24 month service agreement.
Simply put, DirecTV was pushed to Genie/Client-only setups and discontinued all dedicated setups going forward. Hope the new co-owner will eventually change this equipment direction, but nothing heard yet.
Be aware that if you have the Genie-2 (HS17) you cannot have any other receiver/DVR as it is a Client-only setup. You must have a regular Genie (HR34, HR44, HR54, or revised HR54R1) to have dedicated boxes on the other TVs.
You cannot get used boxes as owned options were done away with years ago and DirecTV no longer permits reactivating old boxes.
Since you asked about the oldest, boxes that can be on the system with the Genie:
HD: H21 thru H25
HDDVR: HR20 thru HR24
TiVO: THR22. No Whole Home DVR (only DirecTV fully in-house boxes as is proprietary), may have issues with On Demand, and you pay for TiVO service on top of your other receiver services.
Special: R22. Model shows as SDDVR, but is MPEG-4/HD capable so like an HR22 in hiding. HD recordings take up more room, so when settings changed to HD, the Hard Drive Disk (HDD) fills up quicker.
The new interface only applies to 2nd generation Genie (HR44) and later models.

Since the THR22 can no longer connect to the internet there will be no On Demand.

What about using a TiVo roamio or bolt with an antenna only, along with a genie? Will that work?

Yes, but AFAIK TiVo is no longer making 4 tuner ANT models only 2 tuners or 6 tuner cable with a cable card. You just will have to change the TVs input/source from DTV to TiVo and back.
I think I got one of the last 4 tuner Edge left at Weaknees.com a few years ago.

That’s okay—I have a bolt and roamio with 4 tuners each and they both use antennas. Directv is supposed to come soon throughout my apartment building and if I can continue to use both tivos as well as their genie, that’s fine. I can switch between them, using TiVo for my abc station and Metv toons, and genie for the rest. Thanks.

DTV doesn't install in apt building only single units so most likely it is an MDU (Multi Dwelling Unit) contractor that wires it and has the service contract.

Today is Oct 22, 2024. When I go to my account, and select manage equipment, add new receiver, one of the options is "TiVo® HD DVR from DIRECTV" "Watch and record in both HD and standard definition." for $199. "Call to order". So I called Directv and the agent didnt know about it and told me to call TIVO.

It is called the THR22, DTV hasn't made it in years so I think all the scripts for it are no longer available to the CSRs. You may still be able to get one from a third party retailer online but there maybe problems trying to activate it with DTV. That call DTV is just to give them a change to upgrade you.

Thats what I had already known, and I know about the third parties (they still have them) but when it showed up on the list today, I thought that maybe they did something new. I asked the CSR, why do they offer this receiver "from DTV" along side the Genie, when it's not and hasn't been available for years. He didn't know.. and it's deceiving to do that. I wouldn't pay all the fees associated to it regardless, but just wanted to know. Shame.
