disconnected "power to SWiM" (PI21R2-16) now the reciever isn't turning on

I disconnected the cable connected to the "power to SWiM" as it was tangled up with other cables and I needed to move it but now the receiver isn't turning on. To make it worse we have two cables that connect to the DirectTV satellite dish and another one that connects to an old Dish TV (old provider before switching over) satellite dish. I stupidly did not label these cables and have tried using both, but neither seems to work. The power inserter and TV itself are turning on though. Did I damage the receiver by chance when doing this?

Hi, @eliusgg. No, the receiver isn't damaged by the cabling issues you've encountered. Please find the cable for the receiver and connect it to the SWiM. Additionally, check the power cable to ensure it's plugged in. We'll also DM you to further assist. Stephanie, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Regardless if you have the right cables hooked up, it would not prevent the box from powering on.

What model box?

Is it not powering on at all or getting an error message, or blank screen when on?

Check all cables again and verify finger tight.

Verify power cord is secure and in a working power outlet.

Don't use a "smart" power strip (regular surge protector ok).

Turn HDMI-CEC off if your TV has it.

("smart" strips and HDMI-CEC can cause powering on issues or the TV not recognizing properly box is powered on)
