DTV bringing back the old Bulk-delete option
For the love of the cosmos - when is DTV bringing back the old style Bulk-delete option ?
Meaning:
The old page where one could scroll thru their recorded programs and check-mark the ones they want to delete. Then delete them all at one time.
Having to delete each program individually is an absolute nightmare and beyond time consuming.
I'm spending more time managing my "recording page" than I am watching tv.
In the year 2020 - There's something fundamentally wrong with that.
It's getting to the point that not having this option is going to be a deal-breaker.
Although I would prefer to remain a loyal customer (13yrs)
If it's not addressed in some way sooner than later...
I will be forced to look for a new media provider.
Anyone have any info about this issue ?

We can help you manage your playlist, @Raven000
Being able to mass delete content from your DVR is certainly convenient. On our newer Genie and Genie Mini models, HR44, HR54, or C(x), you can remove all episodes of one show by deleting the folder.
This can help eliminate many episodes of the same show at once by highlighting the folder and pressing the Red Button on your remote.
However, deleting multiple different shows at the same time or multiple episodes of the same show but not all of them, is currently not available on these models.
If you have an HR2(x) model receiver with a universal or RC6(x) remote, there is an Options ability that allows you to bulk delete recordings:
If you have a Genie model and an HR2(x) in your home that share playlists, try turning on deletion for all rooms: Setting & Help > Settings > Whole Home > Share Playlist > Allow Deletion From: All rooms
Then you can use the bulk delete feature on the HR2(x) model to manage the Genie playlist.
We hope you find this information useful

They are still fine-tuning the new GUI. Short staffing from Covid-19, and any limited work-from-home options for non customer support agents, has probably slowed down them on updating the software.
Sorry there is no hard answer as update details and timeline is their internal use only. But agreed a multi option would be helpful, as opposed to just individual or series folder.
