Extending my wireless Genie to my workshop

I just installed a Genie wireless HS17-500 with one mini C41W. I have a workshop separated from my house with Ethernet lines connecting between the buildings. What do I need to do to get the C41W to work in my workshop?

You will probably need another WVB installed as close to the workshop as possible or run coax to it and use a regular wire mini.   The free air range of the WVB is 80'.

My shop is 200 feet away from the home. If I ran coax from the house to the shop, could the WVB work in the shop?

Hi @Shannon1brown, thank you for reaching out!

At the moment our Wireless Video Bridge and C41W (Genie Clients) should be placed no further than 80 feet apart and have no more than 5 internal walls between them in order to get good quality service. For this reason, we strongly recommend our Streaming service which you can use with or without a DIRECTV Stream device in your workshop.

You need to run RG11 coax as DTV recommends no more then 150' (200' may work), yes the WVB will work in the workshop.
