Gemini Problems
I am on my second Gemini unit and I still have the same problem. On start up, about 3 to 4 times a week, I only get audio, no picture. The picture is blank or some partial picture. I do not get any error codes. I have to hit the Red reset button and that brings the picture back after it resets. There must be some kind of software or firmware problem with these units. I do not see the advantage of having Direct TV sending me a third unit since I am sure I will have the same problem. Is there any work being done to fix this? Very frustrated. Did not have any problems with my 4k mini.

If you don't want DirecTV sending a replacement, and you've already done the normal troubleshooting, then either continue with it as-is hoping it gets fixed later or "upgrade" (doesn't count as warranty replacement since different model lines) to a Mini Genie Client.
As for any work being done, possibly but any software/firmware work/development is internal to them and not shared with us customers publicly (such as in this forum).

All they want to do is send me another box. Like I said, that is not the problem. There are no error codes when this happens. Another box would do the same. I see other people are having similar problem. Direct TV needs to look into this and fix the software. Something is wrong!!

I never loose audio, just video. Only on start Up. Audio is good, but no picture.
