Genie box?

What is the genie box? My direct tv Box does not say genie so will the Gemini work with that? Had direct since 2017 or 2018?

With DirecTV you pay $7 for each authorized TV. Doesn't matter if it is a Mini Genie or another receiver box, or even no box at all.

I assume you're splitting to coax via a RF modulator after it gets to your box. That means your additional TVs lose the HD quality. Obviously it is not splitting the coax before the box as the signal would be scrambled.

You can use a powered HDMI splitter to accomplish what you want. Just make sure it supports HDCP 2.2 and preferably HDMI 2.0. Would still be forced to the same channel as the other TV and not paying the $7 since it is not an authorized connection that could tune to their own channels.
