Genie Gen 3 and a wireless Genie mini

Can I connect a wireless Genie mini to my Genie Gen 3 main box?  If so, where do I get a wireless Genie mini?

All wireless minis need a WVB to work so if you don't have one DTV must install one and the mini.

Genie (HR34, HR44, HR54/HR54R1) need a wireless video bridge (WVB) to connect to any wireless Mini Genie Clients (C41W or C61W).

Call DirecTV for the upgrade.

If not free then Client is one-time lease cost $99.

Install and purchase of WVB is $99 (not covered by free upgrade as owned accessory).

Tech installs WVB on coax.

Upgrade comes with 24 month agreement.

Adds $7 to your monthly bill as one more TV total.

You cannot use more than 3 Clients max with the Genie (doesn't matter wired/wireless)

Remember Client steals a tuner from the Genie and cannot work without it.

If you have a free upgrade, than a HDDVR would be something to consider. Has 2 tuners, 500GB recording space, and can work even if the Genie doesn't as is a full receiver. No difference in monthly cost.  Tech would install on coax just like any other receiver or the WVB (to be clear only Mini Genies have a wireless version). Just an option for more bang for your buck.
