Getting started tailgating -- please help!!

Hi there!

We are avid football fans (Geaux Tigers!), and would like to set up our own tailgate with our own TV for the games, instead of just crashing other parties.

We have had Directv before, and are about to get the service again. I just cancelled UVerse.

I would like to get a spare Dish to take out tailgating?

Which model should I get? And, any good pointers on getting started??
