H23-600 Receiver stuck on step 1 of 2

When resetting the receiver, it runs receiver self check then get stuck on the "Step 1 of 2" page and freezes after that. I've tried unplugging the receiver waiting 30 seconds before plugging back in. I've hit the red reset switch. Nothing works. It's an older receiver, guessing that's the problem.

Yep, it's dead. Call DirecTV and request a replacement.

A warranty replacement is $19.95 (covered if you are paying for the protection plan).

H24 I beleive is out of stock. H25 is SWM-only, so depends on your setup if that could be drop shipped.

If the H23 is not your only box, what are the models of each one you have? Just in case you need to prepare for anything else.
