Having different coax cables for DirecTV and Comcast in the same house

I think it's ridiculous they should either one be able to be hooked up to the same cable that's ridiculous I think they're just trying to make home visit and charge you $50 or $100 I find it to be absolutely ridiculous but that's how they make their money I had the same thing happened to me exact same thing and so did my buddy and 100 bucks they're making when they're using the same (Edited per community guidelines) cable

DirecTV and Comcast should NOT be using the same cable. DirecTV is not a streaming service so is not designed to mix their TV signal with internet. If they are connected that messes with your TV service at best, doesn't work at all at worst. So DirecTV and Comcast should be completely separate.

A service call (home visit) shouldn't be charged if this is your initial install. Standard install is included in practically all intro offers.
