Do you have Whole Home DVR service?

You cannot use any USB-based network devices.

A basic phone line for your reciever is real slow for doing on demand.  If you want to use the QWEST modum, you have to remove the either cable from it to your computer and insert a router then a cable to your computer then you cable to your dvr or if the router has wireless, you get a wireless interface from DTV to plug into your reciver.

Do not use the qwest usb port to feed anything.
