How do I get a replacement for my Direct TV receiver that isn't working?

The DirecTV receiver that is on one of my televisions is not working properly. The remote and the TV work fine independently.  There is buffering, break in dialogue, difficulty and delay in changing channels or applications on the TV screen.  I would like a new one please. How do I go about getting it?

What model box?

Verify coax is finger tight.

Red button reset, or even pull power for a minute.

If box is a Mini Genie Client, reset/pull power on the main Genie first.

Verify HDMI cable is secure and free of debris on both ends.

If still not working properly, and issue is confirmed to be box itself, then call DirecTV for a warranty replacement. It would be $19.95 delivery (covered if you are paying for their Equipment Protection Plan).

I did all that and it still doesn’t work. I swapped it with a known working box and it doesn’t work. The network light flashes amber several times then the box shuts down.
