How do I get verified that I have no line of sight so I can get NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV STREAMING

How do I get verified that I have no line of sight so I can get NFLSUNDAYTICKET.TV STREAMING

I moved and do not have line of sight to directtv birds?  I had an independent contractor come out and tell me no place to put a dish?

so I see there is nflsundayticket.tv where someone who can not see a satellite can stream NFL Sunday Ticket.  But when I use my address is says I am not eligible.

Why?  because theoretically my address could receive if my neighbors giant trees weren't there.  Soo I assume I can have it certified so my address does become eligible.

Any help AT&T or DIRECTTV of NFL?

dishpointer.com may help but AFAIK only a DTV tech can certify no LOS.

You say this was verified by an independent contractor. Was this an official Movers order thru DirecTV that sent the contractor out or is someone you contacted yourself?

The difference is on an official Movers order, if the tech confirms no line of sight (NLOS) then they close the appointment for that reason. You then call DirecTV to close the Movers order and account, which includes waiving any ECF you would have had if still under a service agreement based on the NLOS. Provided the account is properly closed for NLOS that should update the related databases for the NFL Sunday Ticket.TV option, but I don't know what the timeline would be (and it is still over a month away from the season starting).

So you may need to call DirecTV to verify the account was closed correctly in the first place. You could certainly ask about how long it takes to update the address verification, but many agents probably don't deal with this so they might have to do some searching in their system to find the answer (assuming they have that info).

Why was your answer different here than it was to me? Same issue. A tech has verified that I have no line of sight but the website still says I’m ineligible. How do I verify that the account was closed correctly?

My response was a bit different because this thread was over a year ago, and there is a little different information.

The original poster mentioned an "independent contractor". So a key difference was if they placed a proper Movers order, or just contacted some random company about putting in a dish.

At the time it was hoped that if the account was closed correctly because of no line of sight (NLOS) that the system would automatically provide an eligibility update. It is unknown how long the update would take, or if there might be communication issues with it from the new billing account system.

There is no known way to update eligibility manually. Agents over the phone deal with customers of DirecTV, not ones who are trying to use the online only option for NFL Sunday Ticket. Calling DirecTV to verify your account was closed for NLOS would at least check that possibility, or if closed correctly speak to a supervisor. But in the end there is nothing known that can force an update on that eligibility.

So calling and verifying that appointment, order, and account all reflect closed for NLOS is about all you can do. Agents don't deal with the streaming option so have no clue how the system updates it.
