How do I remove channels from LCC

How do I remove the channels added from the LCC?  The flat antenna did not work in my area and I have already removed the LCC equipment.  Resetting the Genie receiver has no effect.  Thanks for your assistance.

Repeat the satellite setup process and skip the off-air antenna portion. In fact, that portion shouldn't even appear if the LCC isn't connected.

You could also see about using your own antenna connected to the LCC to get better reception than the flat one that is included.

Lucky you got an LCC. Only in a couple test markets and was for a limited time offered during some pretty frustrating local channel negotiations as a placeholder. If you still end up not using it, there are many looking to pick one up. As a note, only the 2nd and 3rd generation Genies (HR44 and HR54) are compatible with it.

I decided to reconnect the LCC and then remove the local channels from the guide.  This process works fine and once completed I removed the LCC again.  Thanks for your assistance.

Did you even read this post? You have to reconnect the LCC and then remove local channels on each mini and the Genie.

@Mhafter

Sorry, I believe my fellow ACEs are frustrated from countless times when the question asked appears to already be answered in the thread. Though I understand why the exasperated question, I do agree it could have been communicated better.

Reconnect LCC and then you can go about removing local channels. Once done remove the LCC.

If you're having problem with stable signal or such, you could try using a better antenna with the LCC than the one included with it. If still not working for you, at the very least you should be able to find someone to take the LCC off your hands. They are in high demand, but short supply.
