Hr54 vs genie
I have an HR54 receiver. I want to mount tv above fireplace but this receiver is too big to set on fireplace mantle. Is the Genie smaller?

The HR54 is a Genie, mini clients can be mounted behind the TV

Your box is the Genie. The HR54 is the 3rd generation (following HR34 and HR44).
Mini Genie Clients (such as C61) are smaller boxes. They have no tuners of their own so steals 1 from the Genie. They also share the recording space of the Genie as they don't have hard drives. Essentially they are extensions of the main box, though you still pay $7 monthly for each additional TV of course.
