My dish got twisted around and wires were damaged during Florida hurricane had direct come out to check it out and they replaced the dish Now charging me $200.00 I would think that I should have it replaced no charge anyone else in this boat?

It's your dish and you are responsible for fixing it, Directv does not own it. Storm damage is covered by your house insurance, if you have it.

If you had protection plan on your account it would have cost you zero.

Doesn't the protection plan have an "Act of GOD" clause?

@Juniper It would be covered. I had lightning strike my dish and fry all my boxes 5 years ago. Direct TV gave me a new dish, boxes and all new wiring for zero cost since I have protection plan.

It would have cost you $99 for a service call to fix it.

Glad you got covered on that lightning strike. At least you didn't have to pay $99 for a service call on top of already paying for that protection plan.
