I hate DirecTV

I have waited for three days for a technician to come to my home to swap out my analog receivers.  I have been a loyal customer for 15 years and this is not acceptable!  No one cares about my lost wages or helping us get resolution.  If I didn't have an elderly mother that depended on this service for the little pleasure she still gets out of life, I would cut the cord!  Any suggestions?????

Since all DirecTV receivers are digital, I assume you mean old MPEG-2 (SD-only) boxes. If the tech did not show, then you would call DirecTV and reschedule the appointment, including submitting a complaint about the tech not showing (I'm guessing without notice?). Suggest to schedule appointment on a day you already have off so you don't have to take additional time off.

 

Though we as other customers cannot do the above for you, what we can do is give guidance on what to expect and to avoid getting more of an order than you want because of an overzealous agent. What are the models of each box you currently have?
