I no longer have an account....How do I return my receiver

My account was cancelled several years ago. Can someone please tell me how to return my receiver?

I can't get to customer service because I can't log in because I no longer have an account.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Several years later means even if it was still a returnable model at that time it is now too late to return and reverse any non-return fee (NRF) you were charged.

Take box to electronic recycling. I would suggest pulling the access card and disposing of it securely like a credit card.

Boxes are 'leased' meaning they cannot be transferred customer to customer. They may only be returned back to DirecTV, or if too old a model (or in your case you waited too long) it is recycled instead. Even if it was owned back when that was an option, DirecTV no longer activates used boxes. Most owned were legacy that are no longer supported anyway.

No need to return it now if it has been several years later. You were likely already charged the non-return fee for the receiver.

Thanks for your reply.... so can I sell it? Or give it to Goodwill?

I don't need it and I don't want to throw it away.

Goodwill won't want it and it's of no use to another DirecTV customer. Take it to an electronics recycler.

What is the receiver model of the box? I may be able to get it off your hands and salvage the parts if you don’t want to throw it out.
