I paid my bill but still do not have restored DirecTV service

I have a continuing problem with my DirecTV Television Service, account *9743, which was paid on October 20, 2022, amount of $100.00.  Bank of America confirms the payment was applied to the eBill due on 10/17/2022.  I am wondering how long must I wait for regular service to be restored?  I have the Bank of America confirmation number of the payment they sent to AT&T, if you need it.  Thanks For Your Help.

Sorry, we cannot help you with that as we are all just customers here like you.  You would need to contact Directv Customer Service to see when your service can be restored. The phone number is down below!  I hope you can get your service restored soon without too much trouble.

CC payments are posted to the bill in minutes while other payments don't post for a day or 2.

As this is a public forum, never post personal info (such as account numbers) or you risk spam, scams, and/or identity theft.

If you paid on DirecTV's website or via their phone support, then it normally posts within minutes. However, if you pay through an outside option (such as using a bill pay option on your bank), than it can take up to 3 business days to post to your DirecTV account. The issue there is DirecTV will only restore service if the entire balance is paid, not simply what was last billed.

Assuming you paid balance in full (not just past due/last billed amount, but up to the day the payment was posted), then try refreshing service authorizations www.directv.com/refresh which might need a red button reset of your boxes as well. Otherwise call DirecTV in case they need to restore service manually, go over any remaining balance if you only paid the prior amount and not to the day, or to see if payment posted to the correct account.
