I want to disconnect receiver in master bedroom

Just like removing/downgrading any programming, you must call DirecTV to do so. Once deactivated, the box cannot be turned back on (per their new account system setup), so make sure you are forever done with it.
What model is the box?

Call DirecTV at 1 800 531 5000 and tell them you want to remove this receiver from your account. They'll tell you if and how it needs to be returned.

Call DirecTV at 1 800 531 5000 and tell them you want to remove this receiver from your account. They'll tell you if and how it needs to be returned.
