Living room Genie
Other tvs in the house work with our Directv. The main room Genie keeps turning off and not rebooting properly. I see no error code the unit just turns off and wont work. I have rebooted manually on the unit and at the main base unit and it still keeps happening. I believe i need a new Genie for that tv but cant get ahold of anyone to order replacement or online

Check that the power cord is secure and free of debris on both ends.
Make sure it is not plugged into a "smart" power strip.
Try a different outlet, even another power cord if you have.
Pulling the power plug for at least 20 seconds will dump memory so might fix the issue.
Remember power cycle usually dumps guide info, back within 24 hours.
If it is confirmed to be the box itself, then call DirecTV for a warranty replacement. Sorry that is the option. Their hold times are through the roof per many call center closures per non-essential orders for Covid-19.
You will get same model or newer of same Genie line. Recordings do not transfer, so be caught up first, depending on frequency of it turning off. If you have any Clients they will not work while Genie is down (hence HDDVR always better than Client). Delivery is $19.95 or covered if you have their optional Equipment Protection Plan.
