Lost sound
The sound is gone from the main TV. both bedrooms still have sound. on the main tv, Netflix still has sound so its not my tv. I called tech support and after 47 minutes on hold ”Issac” answers and wants to know, to whom does he have the privledge of speaking to. I give him my name then he asked the question 6 more times and finally tells me that he cannot hear me and if i hang up, he will call me right back! what a crock of crap their tech support is, he did not call back and I still don’t have sound after resetting the box, unplugging it twice, each time from different ends! any advice? (other than leave Direct TV as that’s on tomorrows Agenda)

Support does not call back as it is inbound. Plus they are very short staffed with call centers shut down for Covid-19, so they are running on a skeleton crew essentially. And even for companies that do have a callback process, that is only when you have verified who you are talking to. So that was definitely a bad agent. Wonder if their shift was ending if they were that motivated to end the call.
What model are your boxes?
Which one has the issue?
Unplugging box, was that coax, power, and/or HDMI cord to TV?
Have you tried another HDMI cord and/or port on the TV?
Is it no sound on any channel you try?
Is there an error message with it?
Any other problems?
