Moving to a new RV
I currently have 2 standard definition receivers in my RV. I have purchased another RV and will be moving in.
The place for the tv in the bedroom doesn’t have a shelf for a receiver. If I place the receiver behind the tv I think I will have to have a rf remote.
How can that remote work for the tv?

DirecTV is service by satellite. So internet is not needed. You record from the satellite feed.
Whole Home DVR works through the coax between boxes, again not internet.
If your setup is connected to internet, then you get access to On Demand, restart from beginning, and ordering PPV from the remote options. Connected to internet is optional.
WiFi is not service. It is a wireless connection between two pieces of equipment, such as from computer to printer. DirecTV does have options to connect to your internet router wirelessly, though wired is still preferred. Remember, internet connected is optional. Also do not connect to any internet that is data capped/metered, as the risk of eating through your data allowance is too great.

DirecTV is shutting down the old MPEG-2/SD-only feeds. So any boxes or receiving dishes that are not MPEG-4 must be replaced.
If the boxes are used in the home as well, DirecTV has a complimentary swap program for the boxes and the home dish. Anything exclusive to the RV, such as it's receiving dish, is your cost to replace. You will need a Slimline SWM dish on a tripod or sled mount, or the Winegard Trav'ler.
What are the models of all your boxes and which ones are in the RV?
If the boxes are used exclusively in the RV then an H25 (SWM-only), or the H24 (if still in stock) would be the non-DVR options. Going through an authorized retailer (such as Solid Signal) will be how you get those. HD non-DVRs are $99 each one-time cost, still owned by DirecTV (leased). Since this is an "upgrade", unlike the swap program for the residential address, it comes with a 24 month agreement and if you don't already have it $10 HD service (for the account, not per receiver).

All of the receiver’s that I have are D12-100.
I have a SWM dish with a single output.
I don’t have any tilt because I can get my locals from the 101 satellite, although they are not HD.
Address is in Dallas, Tx
Do they charge $10 for both HD and DVR?

YES they still Charge for HD & DVR Service -- if you choose to hide the receiver --YOU can get a IR-extender --you place on small "ir-eye" on the receiver's IR window --and place a Small --IR -eye--receiver --somewhere in the line of sight of your remote.
You can also look at upgrading your RV dish at Solidsignal.com --models have come a long way

HD and DVR are separate services. So that would be $10 HD and $10 DVR, plus $3 Whole Home DVR if you get a Genie (HR34 and up, optional for setups without a Genie on the account).
D12 is the last MPEG-2 non-DVR made. If your receiving dish is already SWM, that is fortunate (D11 and earlier couldn't work on SWM at all). Then H25 is the option for the RV.
Location (Dallas or otherwise), doesn't matter regarding this situation. The MPEG-2 shutdown is processing nationwide. SD-only has joined VHS, floppy disks, and audio cassettes in the past. For now SD programming will come through on the MPEG-4 feed, but eventually is expected to go completely away. Remember, DirecTV grandfathered their SD-only options in late 2015 an SD-only TVs haven't been made in over a decade.
Technology moving forward.
