New 86" Smart TV
I have recently purchased an 86" Smart TV. The current Direct TV receiver I have for that room is the Wireless Genie Mini, Model C41W-100. Do I need a different receiver for the larger format TV?

Nope. Changing TVs does not require a new box.
You would only need to change boxes if you had any old MPEG-2/SD-only ones. As long as you have a setup that has H and/or HR models (including Genie setups), you are fine.
You replace box if you want more tuners and recording space (HDDVR like HR24) or you want the few channels in 4K which need the only 4K model (C61K, with either HR54 or HS17 being you main Genie).
